SEAP MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Through referrals from our member agencies and support from our funding sources, SEAP is able to help households who are faced with an emergency need and who do not have the money to meet that need. SEAP can help purchase resources like medications, medical equipment, rent and deposit assistance, bus passes, appliances, furniture, and many other items.
Who can get help?
People who are participants in member agency services can talk to their caseworkers about getting help for emergency needs. SEAP is contacted to see if the client is eligible. Eligibility is based on past use of SEAP funds. We are not able to help people who are not working with an agency. We will be happy to help find sources within the community that may be able to help.
How do I find out more?

We had a participant that was not in the best of health. Because of the assistance through SEAP he has been successfully housed where his medical staff can come and help him in the privacy and comfort of his own home. This gentleman was so excited the day he moved. He kept telling me how happy he was and how much he was thankful for the help through SEAP. He has been housed and is doing great! -Humility Homes and Services
Last week a couple came in to get help with a deposit for their new place they were living in. They had recently been homeless and finally found a place to live. The landlord ended up asking for a double deposit because of a past eviction. They were already in the place but were being threatened to have to move. We were able to assist them and I was able to call and speak with the landlord and get them the assurance they would not be put on the streets. She wept and wept. She was so thankful and relieved! - Heart of Hope Ministries
There was a young lady who recently got away from an abusive relationship. She had her water shut off because he was controlling her finances. He offered money to her if she came back but he knew if she went back to him he would beat her again but she needed water for her and her baby. You helped her keep her water on and she was able to be strong enough to stay on her own! Praise God for that. I was able to pray with her and she cried and cried with gratefulness. -Heart of Hope Ministries
